Stamping Nail Art :: Leafy Neon Gradient

Products used:

UNT: Peel Off base coat, Sun Envy top coat
Avon: Inspire
Models Own: Louis Lemon
L.A Colors: Dimple
Barry M: Black Pistachio
Stamping Plate: MoYou 221
FUN Lacquer: Diamond
Bliss Kiss: Simply Peel

I really wanted to use the floral stamping plate my best friend got me for my birthday, especially now that nature is blooming and Easter is coming and bunnies and flowers and chocolate and stuff.

Just like my previous post, I created a neon gradient. My base colour, Avon’s Inspire, wasn’t neon but it created a good foundation for Models Own’s Louis lemon which is very sheer in comparison.

For information on how to do the perfect gradient, check out the steps on my Vampy Matte Gradient post.

I didn’t bother adding a top coat after my gradient because, well… I couldn’t be bothered.

Black Pistachio is super dark, but when I stamped it on, it was a thin layer of the perfect, rich, leafy green colour. Because the stamping made the colour a little sheer, the green also turned into a gradient over the base which was a pleasant surprise! To complete, I topped it off with a fast drying glossy top coat (because this is when it really matters).

Aside from being a spring themed nail art, I reckon this would make a really cool summer festival look.
