I’m at the point where I want this over and done with now – mainly because I’m eager to get a tattoo and I can’t until the laser is all done. I have two more sessions left and in all honesty, I don’t think I’ll be rid of all traces of hair (I suppose I was a little too hopeful when I began this journey).
This session was meant to take place on 8th November, but they had an issue with the machines so were forced to cancel and reschedule all laser appointments. I was really frustrated when I was informed, but got over it pretty quick. So we rescheduled my appointment for 19th November after work. It was a bit of a rush to get there, but I was only 5 minutes late.
Kirsty did my laser this time and she was just as nice as the first time. I felt pretty relaxed and less nervous this time (probably because I just want it to be over). It took less time that previous sessions (only an hour). I believe this was because some of the hairs on my body no longer grow which is obviously what I want.
Again, the worst part of this was the bikini area. Placing a cold pack helped around 80%, but your body heats up pretty quick (and the room was rather warm) so it lessened the effect to maybe around 60%.
I expect to have shedding within the next few weeks (hopefully, it’s from the more stubborn areas). My next session is 10th January, but I won’t be writing an update until my final session is done. Purely because I’m regurgitating what I’ve been writing for the past 6 months. However, if anything out of the ordinary happens, I’ll let you know!
