I wasn’t too sure where I was going with this nail art, or how it would even turn out. All I knew was that I wanted to use Avon’s Lime Splatter and this amazing electric blue colour I got from a random shop. I began with the usual prep by applying my peel off base coat, and whilst that was drying, I applied a layer of glue around my nails to protect my skin from the polish I was about to sponge on. This glue is actually really good – it doesn’t take long to dry and because it’ dries Pink, you can easily remove all residue.

Seeing as the two polishes were quite opaque, it only took 2-3 coats to cover my nail properly. I then applied top coat over it.

I still couldn’t decide what to do with my nails after this. Once I peeled away the glue, I got the bright idea of trying out some stamping with Aubrey Walk.

So I stamped on this design and I didn’t like it.

To turn this disaster into happiness, I added a coat of Indian Ocean and oh my goodness they looked amazing! I was no longer upset about how shit the stamping was (which I blame on the actual stamp and not my lack of stamping skills).

I need a lifetime supply of Indian Ocean polish okaythanksbye
